Just bought a nearly identical 2020 mustang! Only difference is I didn't get the pony package but I wish I did, those wheels and the retro grille really make it. Thanks for a great review, it definitely helped me decide on this car!
I really like, i bought one 2020 a month ago but convertible, o love the GT 's Sound and coupe shape, but on my case i decided to buy a 4 cylinders and convertible because the great flexibility, so i am daily driver and i don't feel comfortable to arrive on my clients with V8 sounding loud, and on that case i can open my roof and enjoy the Florida whether with my daughter on the back seat. Before i had a dodge challenger with great sound, but now Mustang is my favorite for sure
I bought a ‘19 Ecoboost Convertible last year and love it. I don’t know why you bothered with the ‘vert if you didn’t bother to take the top down. It’s also a little insulting to say it shouldn’t be called “Mustang” or look like one with the Turbo-4, that’s what the “GT” rear badging is for. Ford has always offered a non-V8 version. And do you realize the Turbo-4 is more powerful than the V6 it replaced? 310HP out of a Turbo-i4 is pretty damn good for a daily driver - it’s not meant to tear up a race track and gets (slightly) better mileage than the GT, better for a daily driver in most respects.
I admit that the sound of the GT is very impressive. However I bought the 2020 EcoBoost. I don't race but I like the looks of the Mustang. It doesn't make sense for me to spend an extra $10,000 - $15,000 just to hear a car roar. Besides, it wouldn't be nice to disturb my neighbors everytime I leave or pull in my driveway. I went for the hard top since I don't like convertibles.
You’ve driven so many Mustangs but can’t tell the difference if the hood vents are functional or not? They are functional - if you look under the hood there are 2 openings that lead to the hood vent. And I know nothing about cars 😀
Back seats. I wish they would get rid of them. No where to put your legs. They are not functional so why have them. A sub with 2 10 inch speakers and a locking 2 door storage box would be cool. No more t birds, no more sedans, so why not?
He never took the top down. What’s the point of it, then? Might as well have just reviewed the fastback...

Just a quick note. Magneride suspension is not available on ecoboost convertibles. I'm sure it still drove nice though

How did u get 23 mpg combined. I have like 19 something. 270 miles for a full tank Mustang is def a gas drinker
Maybe flatter roads than you? Or better elevation for a turbo.. 🤷♂️ we definitely push these harder and usually get lower mpg than normal owners.
